Gaia is the Greek goddess who first drew the world from chaos, breathing life and form into matter. The Gaia principle proposes that earth acts as an organism that relies on the balance of all systems for survival. Humans, animals, atmosphere and physical earth must co-exist to prevent chaos.

Floridians become meteorologists during hurricane season. The "cone of uncertainty" indicates the geography of impending severe hurricane damage. My experience with the eye of hurricane Wilma left me in awe of nature's incredible force. One hour of nature's chaos will rearrange your priorities.
