The Bell House was built in the late 1800's. Pemaquid Point lighthouse is popular in the summer - the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. I walked out on the rocks to get an unusual composition of the lighthouse peeking out behind the bell house. It was a beautiful summer day.

The Gulf of Maine can get very wild. The Bell House was destroyed in a storm with very high tides a few weeks ago.  Now that I live close to the point, I can get close to the fury of the North Atlantic Ocean. I really feel insignificant when she acts up.

This year's weather pattern, early 2024, illustrates how global warming is changing our lives. I am a Florida transplant. I never imagined the water damaging structures like it does in the south. I guess no place is safe from sea water level rise. Mother Nature always wins.
