Pemaquid Flame celebrates the explosion of color in Mid Coast Maine in Autumn. This place is a special place of peace. Pemaquid Point has many wonderful hikes. This particular place is a short hike from the road. The rocks make a perfect perch to reflect and paint.

I started this painting on one of my many trips to find a new home here. Moving to a totally new place is scary and exhausting. I knew a few years ago that the beauty of Maine would lure me into a new life. The change of seasons and light is amazing. I have missed it so much.
